•    Basic knowledge of structural mechanics
•    Completed studies in the field of automotive engineering/mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
•    At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
•    German language skills of at least B1 and English language skills of at least B2
•    Experience in building FE models with the ANSA programme and in evaluating calculation results with the Animator programme
•    Experience in the application of the FE method with the programmes Nastran and Abaqus
•    Experience in working with the UNIX operating system
•    Programming skills for the automation of processes (e.g. Python)
•    Good knowledge of Office programmes
•    Category B driving licences

•    Application of modern pre-/post-processors and calculation programmes
•    Carrying out strength and stiffness analyses of the body structure using the FE method
•    Virtual evaluation of strength and stiffness requirements for the body and its add-on parts
•    Collaboration in development teams (with design and testing) and representation of the calculation results
•    Support in the design development of component optimisations
•    Analysing physical test results to validate calculation results
