Antoninek / Zieliniec
As a commercial vehicles plant we are aware of our environmental impact. We would like to counterbalance the impact by seeking common solutions.
On 14 March 2019 took place the first dialogue meeting with the inhabitants of Zieleniec, during which the management of Plant No. 1 in Antoninek informed our stakeholders about the current status of the plant reconstruction.Discussions also concerned additional planting of trees in Krośniewicka Street, as well as the implementation of plans to reconstruct the streets in Zieliniec, which are an element of the agreement with the city of Poznań on changing the transport system.
Wilda
The subject of these meetings is mostly focused on environmental issues – our neighbours wish to become familiar with the Environment Management System - and it concerns plans of the Foundry for the coming years.
Employees of Volkswagen Poznań Foundry, together with representatives of "Wildzianie" Association organised colourful mini-gardens in the immediate vicinity of the factory, around 4 local trees at 28 czerwca 1956 Street. The action was part of the project "My piece of garden", which received funding from "Blue Grants" program
Września / Białężyce
Information about the dialogue with the residents of the Września Municipality – neighbours of the new plant of the VW Crafter’s successor.
On 28 March 2019 took place the first dialogue meeting with the inhabitants of the surrounding villages located near the VW factory in Białężyce.The many new residents had the opportunity to meet the new plant manager, Christiane Engel. Thanks to the presence of the Mayor of Września, the meeting was also an opportunity to discuss local issues under the responsibility of the City and Municipality of Września.
Many participants also took the opportunity to visit the factory and get to know the production process of Volkswagen Crafter.
