The Casting Plant has also specialised equipment for construction and repair of moulds and core boxes as well as measurement/laboratory base (including but not limited to scanning microscope, testing machine and scanner for three-dimensional measurements. X-Ray controls, i.e. controls of cracks on the castings are carried out at Volkswagen Poznań. Heat treatments are carried out under cooperation agreements by our verified partners. Optimization of new products is performed together with our customers using the "Magma" casting process simulation system in our design and development department. |
